I am a communications consultant, journalist, project manager, travel advisor, and entrepreneur with 8+ years of experience in multiple spheres, including the public, nonprofit, and private sectors.
My background includes government relations, public policy, media relations and public affairs, corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) oversight, crisis response, change management, and customer and employee experience in a variety of countries and industries.
I founded Fugora, an experiential travel firm committed to creating unique, unforgettable, transformational journeys and promoting global exploration while taking care of all logistical details, offering the best experiences and recommendations around the world. In 2020, amidst the global pandemic, co-founded ÁTOMA, a communications consulting firm. Previously, I served as Chief of Staff and Private Secretary to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Panama, Project Manager at the United Nations Global Compact - Sumarse, and as a Communications Consultant at Pizzolante.
I hold a BA in Political Science and International Relations and a minor in Communications from Saint Louis University, an MBA from IE Business School, and a Master in Advanced Management from the Yale School of Management.
I am driven, pragmatic, intellectually curious, organized, and empathic with an unquenching thirst to solve complex problems and thrive in dynamic environments.
My passion for travel has taken me to 66 countries and over 600 cities across all continents. I have lived in Panama, Beijing, St. Louis, Houston, New Haven, Madrid, and Hong Kong. Three things you might not know about me: I speak 6 languages (Spanish, English, French, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, and some Catalan), practice fencing, and volunteered at the 2008 Beijing Olympics while I lived and studied in China.
